Welcome to Mind Mirror. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Mind Mirror application and website. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Not medical advice
Mind Mirror is a self-reflection tool, not a mental health treatment provider. The AI-generated reflections and insights provided by the Overseer are for informational and self-discovery purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional immediately (e.g., dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US).
Acceptable use
You agree to use Mind Mirror only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the service to store or transmit illegal content.
- Engage in harassment, abuse, or threats against others or the AI system.
- Attempt to automate, scrape, or otherwise abuse the API endpoints.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
Subscription terms
Mind Mirror offers both free and paid subscription tiers.
- Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. For web subscriptions, manage your billing in the app settings. For mobile subscriptions, you must cancel through your Apple ID or Google Play Store settings.
- Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law.
Intellectual property
Your content: You retain full ownership of all journal entries and personal data you input into Mind Mirror.
Our content: We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Mind Mirror application, website, branding, and the AI-generated reflections produced by the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mind Mirror and Dyeverse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the service. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Mind Mirror at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
